We could not have imagined how beautiful the white oak stains! The gentleman and his crew who are working on the floor have a reputation for being the best in the region. He has had nothing but great things to say about the quality of the wood. He mentioned that he has not seen such long, straight and wide boards in his career, and in such large volume (approx 6000 ft)! We have one section that spans 90 feet and he marvels at how beautiful the long pieces look traveling along a straight line. I watched him stain some of the wood and it was almost magical as the wood went from a subtle light brown to a glorious accentuated grain pattern.
