Become A Personal Student of Tom'sTom teaches private and small groups in Naples, Florida. Appointments must be made through his Naples office.
If you have the desire to become a more consistent player, Tom advises planning a trip to Naples, where he can do a series of intense, focused sessions with you in a short period of time."My very first viewing of Tom's video helped me quickly pinpoint and correct fundamental flaws in my game that literally dozens of other videos and lessons didn't, including several weekends at several well known academies. I only wish I knew about Tom's tapes when I started playing tennis four years ago. It would have saved me a lot of time, money, and defeats. If you buy any instructional videos, buy these."
Dr. Dan Ward, Crystal River, Florida

The Winingest Davis Cup Captain in U.S. History Tom Avery tennis videos" unravels the mystery of a consistent swing."
"This instructional tape is a winner. I've looked at three others recently and still could not grasp the forehand and backhand, particularly. After five minutes into the tape, it became crystal clear what I had to do to become more consistent. Its the best! I KNOW you will like it. I'm a 68 year old neophyte learning the game. My 2 lessons with a pro were fruitless. Enjoy!" Reviewer: johneraft@aol.com from Tampa, FL " I recently attended Tom Avery Tennis Academy in Naples, Florida and got just what I wanted. He gave me quality personal attention so that I improved my game. I also feel his second Video Tape on singles and double's strategies is a must for those who want to win. Using his tapes and the desire to play tennis will make your trip to Tom's academy very worth while! Finally tennis help that works.I recommend this program to those who want to play tennis at the next level." Sincerely,
Jerome M Laffer, D.M.D, P.C "I've taken lessons from at least five instructors sporadically for the past twenty years. The one lesson I had from Tom was the most beneficial by far." Mark H. Cohen
Arlington, VA. "After twenty years of tennis and many lessons... I still avoided baseline forehands, two lessons from Tom and now it's a shot I look for. Many Thanks Tom for all your tennis help." Jim Johnson
Fort Wayne, Indiana The tennis videos are "Great for learning how to correct your mistakes."
"These tennis videos help you understand what you can do to improve your strokes, correct your mistakes and hit consistently. It covers various hand/grip positions, body position, forehand and backhand ground strokes, the service toss and provides helpful, easy to remember ideas for correcting your mistakes.
Excellent visuals, good close ups, easy to watch and learn from. Tom does an excellent job in explaining what you may be doing wrong depending on where the ball ends up , why that happens and what to do to correct the problem.
I've taken lessons and watched this tape and I feel I can refer to what I learned on this tape more so then the lessons I've had.
If your game has fallen off and your missing your shots and need to get back to the basics and understand what you are doing wrong, buy this tape. You won't be disappointed." Reviewer: a viewer from So. California "Great Tips for Ground strokes"
"This is a great video. Lots of good tips, particularly for ground strokes. Really helped my forehand." Reviewer: schutz9609@aol.com from Alexandria VA "Excellent instruction to improve your ground strokes"
"The real forte of these tennis videos is how to remedy hitting your forehand and backhand into the net or beyond the baseline. I strongly recommend the new player (which I am) see this tape. It is well worth the money." Reviewer: A reader from York, PA "A Well-Worth-Your-Money Tennis Clinic on Video"
"This tennis video gives definite, concrete examples on how to improve your game. It addresses your grip, back swing, serves, forehands, backhands, drills... My serves were constantly in the net. Tried one of the two fixes on this tape and haven't had that problem since. Now, if I could just stop praying the ball in (and out)... " Reviewer: msicard@bluechipsocks.com from Georgia "Thank you very much for your videos. You have truly caught many of the secrets of tennis and have presented them in a practical way. I wish I had these videos ten years ago." Dr. Jerry Laffer, Fayetteville, NY " I really enjoy your videos from beginning to end. I have ordered many helpful teaching videos but yours are definitely the best." Elke Wiedemann, USPTA

"I'm happy to recommend Consistent Tennis Wins as the "most important" technique of using the proper grip. It has helped me be much more consistent. All of my many years of playing tennis, I only made very small adjustments with changing my grip from forehand to backhand. Now I try to change on every ground stroke. Thank you so much for helping me and my daughter." Lanny Daise, St. Joseph, MO

I particularly benefited from your concepts around visualization of contacting the ball below the plane of the net. Your instructions are clear, concise, and right on the spot." "The Tom Avery videos sell extremely well. Customers love that each tape is very specific to their needs. I would strongly recommend them as an item to add to your tennis store." Corrinne Pinsoff KaplanPresident, Chicago Tennis and Golf Co. Tennis Industry's Specialty Retailer of the Year 2002. "The M3 Power is a breath of fresh air. So many of today's modern rackets are becoming lighter and less powerful. The M3 Power has kept what has proven to work so well in the hands of the most critical customers, the playing pros. As advertising dollars are spent to attract more recreational players most of today's rackets miss the target of what's important, racket head speed and spin of the ball. With a 16x19 string pattern this optimizes spin compared to 18-20 designs, the balance and overall weight is recognized only by those who really know the game. I think Tom Avery hit this one out of the park!" Peter Prinos, Foxboro, Massachusetts, NTRP Rating 6.0, M3 Power Player
In 2005 Peter ranked #1 in the Men's 45's USTA New England Section and is currently at #1 for 2006.
"I've tried many racquets including most of the major brands and a few of the others and I think the Avery is the best one all around. I've enjoyed it from the first time I hit with it, I'm very happy with it. Right now I'm between a 3.5-4.0, coming back from shoulder surgery. It's going very well and I think I'm finally getting back up there." Nancy Garrigan, Jensen Beach, FL AVERY M3 Control Player "It's heavier than the other ones I used to use but, I have more control over where the ball goes and I can get it in with less effort." Nicole Martinez, AVERY M3 Control Player
Gulf Coast High School Team, Naples,FL
"Heavier racquets are more comfortable to use and easier on the body. I chose the M3 because it's greater weight acts as a shock absorber, lessening the stress on my wrist, arm and elbow. I also have found that the heavier racquets reduce torque. Both advantages improve ball control. The headlight balance made the M3 very maneuverable and I did not sustain any loss of racquet head speed. I fully endorse the M3 racquet, when playing I cannot tell where my hand ends and the racquet begins." Keith Simon, M.D., AVERY M3 Control Player
