- Welcome to 2007 - Not that I'm remotely ready for it to be 2007 yet... Cyberlily Gardens exists in the real world as a home garden in central North Carolina, where I am blessed to be able to grow a very wide variety of plants. I grow over 400 varieties of daylilies as well as nearly 50 varieties of iris and other perennials as space permits. I also manage to volunteer or sign up for way too many jobs in the American Daylily Society (and Region 15), my neighborhood, and my church. If I'm not in the garden I'm probably on the computer building a website or emailing volunteers or writing a neighborhood newsletter. And if I'm not on the computer then perhaps I'm playing with my precious little boys or downtown trying to get the city council to stop putting up more buildings along roads that are already over capacity. This website has been up since 1996, and though I don't have as much time for my own site as I'd like I try to keep adding things to make it enjoyable to a beginning gardener as well as daylily collectors. I hope you enjoy your visit. No, the spring price list isn't ready yet, and by the time it is I'm sure I'll be running a sale to get rid of more named things to make room for seedings. I did manage to register 3 of my new daylilies over the winter, so those will be listed shortly.- Cyberlily Gardens Site Index -The Daylily Pricelist in just about ready for an early start to the summer sale for 2005. Many plants are already listed, but a few more will be coming. As always, I need to make room for my seedlings, and as always I'm running behind. Photo Cards were a new project back in 2003. While I do still make them, the pages haven't been updated since then, so please contact me to find out what's currently available if you are interested in these. The Daylily Image Gallery is a virtual display garden with over 350 daylily images and growing. The gallery includes some daylilies which are on the pricelist and also many more which are not. The Daylily Search Tool will help you look up registration information for a particular daylily. The Garden Gallery is designed to showcase images from gardens which I have been fortunate enough to have visited. It includes a lot of daylily gardens, but a lot of other things too. Images from my 2003 trip to the daylily gardens of central Florida can be found in the garden gallery as can pictures from Plant Delights Nursery which don't show any daylilies. There's even a few images from my garden, though I really should add some more. My Daylily Seedlings page shows the progress of my hybridizing program. This page was last updated with seedlings from 2002. In 2003 the deer ate everything, but maybe I'll get 2004 posted before the 2005 bloom season starts... There's absolutely nothing in there about daylilies, gardening, or website development. It was a personal exercise as much as a public statement, but you are welcome to read it if you like. 
So far, the Cyberlily Webdesign business has been successful. At any rate, it's been keeping me busy enough with some big projects that I haven't had time to update my own site. I suppose that's good! If you are in need of a website, please feel free to contact me to find out if I can be of assistance.- Guarantee -Daylilies are tolerant of a wide variety of situations, but perform at their best when givenover a half day of sun and plenty of water. Like most garden plants, they prefer well drained soil, regular watering, and a bit of fertilizer in the late spring. In the deep souththey do well with some afternoon shade, and in the north a winter mulch isgood idea if you don't have reliable snow cover. Those in hardiness zones 7-8 should be able to grow most varieties without difficulty.The plants I send will always be large and healthy, state inspected,and true to name, and they will always be reasonably priced. I dig each of them by hand right before shipping them to you. Please contact me immediately if you are unhappy withthe plants you receive, or during the first bloom season if the flowers arenot what you expected.
