a serious player, you have very likely had your coach analyze your
technique using video. Undoubtedly, you have been surprised that
what you felt you were doing looked quite different from what was
actually happening. Understanding the difference between "feel and
real" gives you instant confidence to work on the necessary changes.
Problems with video alone: Because it is difficult to analyze motion, coaches often prefer to walk you
through the video frame by frame in slow motion. Although your instructor may provide you with a copy of
the tape for future reference, it is often difficult to remember the key points when you are on your own. As
a result, the message from the lesson is often distorted or lost.

easy for your coach to clip high-resolution still frames from moving video. These frames can be individually
