This Licence currently costs around $165.00 (for 3 years) The alternative is to become a member of a knife/sword club such as the AKC(Australian Knife Club), for $25 per year, which will allow you to buy a sword in Victoria. This is a far simpler option. Proof of membership will be required before dispatching swords to a Victorian address. There are no specific sword laws in other Australian states.
