New May 15,
2006: PATENT GRANTED! Motorized flapping wings are no longer
patent pending. The US patent
office has granted our patent, number US 7,037,163 B2, filed April 2, 2002 and
issued May 2, 2006.
New February
17, 2004: So we can concentrate on
Flapping Wings production, Clandestine Clothing & Accessories no longer offers
flashing light collars.
We have about a
dozen remaining in stock that we can sell at reduced prices while they
last! Email us for a list of what
we have left.
New December 6,
2003: Large budget wings now
feature a mechanism that’s about the same size as that of the medium wings
(6.5” wide x 3.5” tall x 1” thick)!
Also, for a limited time, we will include a free 1/4 inch Hex Driver
with your wings. The Hex driver
makes it easier to assemble and disassemble the wings.
New August 18,
2003: Mechanisms for small to medium flapping wings are now 30% smaller than
the first models! Another
improvement is the mechanism now has a removable cover, which, along with the
removable wings, let you put different pairs of flapping wings one mechanism. However, straps aren’t removable, so
it’s best that all wings you put on a mechanism are the same color. Also, new hardware lets you remove and
replace the wings more easily than on earlier models.

2002: Clandestine announces our
latest product: Flapping Costume Wings!
Our patent pending design adds motion to popular angel wings, bat wings,
demon wings…you name it!
Configurations range from a simple open-closed pattern to a
user-selectable intermittent mode.
As with standard angel, etc. wings, price varies with the quality of the
wings, and the complexity of wing motion.
The flapping mechanism operates for hours on a few AA and 2 lithium
batteries, and adds very little weight to the wings. Check back for info about our standard models and
pricing. Also, chances are good
that I can convert your wings to flapping ones; email me for a quote (send
pictures, they will help).
