Be Inspired....Create something wonderful today!
This is just ONE photo I have to share on
this altered project. This is the "Flower
Album" by Maya Road and it goes in this
adorable "Flower Keepsake Box" that I also
altered. I used October Afternoon "Detours"
papers for this entire project along with
some embellishments by Maya Road. I will
feature more photos of this album on the
BLOG later this week. I was inspired
to make this project from a post I saw on 2
peas but I don't re-call her name but she is
a DTM for Maya Road, she is awesome and I
bookmark her creations all the time.
To make this card I drew
out a template of a puzzle
piece and made sure it would fit inside the
envelope I wanted
to use. I then traced that onto my bazzill,
cut it out at the score line, inked all the
edges with brown ink, decorated the top with
patterned paper, stamped my sentiment, "Happy
Birthday".
I used a sheer flower by Maya Road & Bazzill
Chip & Chip Topper, added some ribbon and
clear jewels.
I love the bazzill in stitches templates and
on this layout I used one of the border
templates. All I did was find a circle
the size I wanted, lightly traced it on my
layout with a pencil, punch the holes using
my piercing tool and mat, making sure to
follow my pencil line in the circle shape,
stitched it, placed tiny prima flowers
around the circle and adding jewels in the
center of each flower. Added my photos
and a few other embellishments and this is
the result.
