During the finals on Sunday, Nathan was one wave away from winning the contest, but lack of swell didn’t work to his advantage and he ended up settling for 4th place.Nathan was also selected for a second year in a row to represent the Pac-Sun USA surf team. It seemed like everybody there was supporting the Spade. Our FMX team, Jimmy Hill and Justin Ayres were pulling insane tricks on the 75 foot ramp in front of a couple thousand fans. After they rode, they would come back to the SRH booth and signed autographs and took pictures.
